lin and other parts of unoccupied
Germany have resulted In such an In
crease in the number of civilians
eager to reach the bridgehead area
where conditions are more normal
that the American forces of occupa
tion have been compolled to take
steps to prevont Germans from all
parts of the country over-running the
occupied tone along- tho Rhine.

drawn. Applications were made re

denied today by the Third Army of

of this kind were prohibited by the
