boys' teams last night was the best
of the series, with Medford showing
splendid improvement. Scely Hall
refereed the games. A large crowd
witnessed the contests. The last
games in the Ashland series will be
played at Ashland tonight, and many
of the local student body will attend.

week a hurry call was sent in by a
KliiXnath county lumberman for ex
perienced cook and helper for lumber
camp. At the time this order was
taken, the local office had no one
registered who would fill tho bill.
During the afternoon ot the samd day
a party called representing a first
class camp cool; and assistant. Tho
lumberman was located almost at the
moment of leaving town. The two
parties were brought together, with
tho result that tho position was
filled.

train today to Gold Kay to try their
luck in tho river, but a number of
confirmed Medford fishermen went
by auto to points along the river to
day despite the bad weather.
