, A suggestion of value to Secretary
Steel of the Commercial club Is con
tained In the following item in the
Eugene Register: "To facilitate the
collection of the. dues of the 500 or
more members of the chember of
commerce, Jerome Workman, secre
tary, is asking the members, thru a
letter being sent out, to Instruct their
hanks to pay their dues each month
as the collector comes around. It
this is done by all the members the
collector will simply have to go to
the three banks, collect the money
and band in the receipts which will
be given to the members when they;
get their returned checks the first of
each month. Many of the chamber
members have been in the habit of
paying their-dues this way as well as
lodge dues and dues to other organi-J
nations that are collected- monthly.
