address, to appear at the banquet.
Mr. Cobb explained early in the even
ing; that ho was rather tired out and
that after his lecture he had a long
car ride before hhn. In addition he
explained he was a democrat and
would be out of place In the banquet
room except as a political curiosity.

this morning for a month's visit with
Iholr son, Otaas. Sharp, and family at
their ranctf near Riddle. Fifty years
go last December, Rev. Sharp began

riding preacher and SO years ago he
and Mrs. Sharp were united in mar

languages. He will explain village

Sheriff Terrell has received notice
to . the effect that a reward of $50
would be paid for information con
cerning Lew Barr, who mysteriously
disappeared from Klamath Falls,
July 9, 1918. Mr. Barr, who is about
55 years of age, at one time conduct
ed the Modoc Lumber company's
store at Chiloquin, Oregon. Accord
ing to the Klamath Falls authorities,
no reason for the man's disappear
ance can be found. -
