Section 1. That Section 1 of Or
dinance No. 9GB entitled "An Ordin
ance authorizing and providing for
tho Issuo and salo of Refunding Im
provement Donds. Issna of 1 ti 10, of
tho City of Medford, Oregon." Ap
proved Jnnunry 7, 1919, bo and the
snmo Is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Sec. 1. Vndcr and pursuant to
tho provisions of the charter of the
City of Medfor. Refunding Improve
ment lionds of tho City of Medford In
tho amount sufficient to pay and re
deem the Indebtedness hereinbefore
referred to nnd represented hy the
outstanding Improvement Donds, un
paid warrants and a part of tho cou
pons, of such bonds held by the City
as herolnbofore recltod, shall be Is
sued. The snld bonds shall bear date
the first day ot January, A. D. 1919
ulinll be in denominations of One
Thousand Dollnrs, bearing Interest at
the rate ot six per centum per an
num, payable semi-annually on the
first days of January and July in
each year, on the presentation and
surrender of coupons to be annexed
