repair foases were established in
Prance, one in Great Britain, one at

Lutheran pastors woro instructed to
preach pro-Gorman sermons before
the United States entered the war,
Captain Lester of the array '-Intelligence

corps and the Hawaiian Infantry were
playing when their partisans descend
ed from argument to fisticuffs and

the field when the band leader start
ed the Star Sprangled Banner. .
Right swings and left uppercuts
were left uncompleted as each mar
ine apd soldier came instantly to sa
lute and stood at attention while the
national anthem was played; There

the officers stood at ease again and

holding only stems. Tho mascot had
taken a sweet revenge and a square
meal for the Insult to his dignity. -
