Saturday I was called on to at
tend the tuneral of liohcrt Leland
Smith, who died Nov. 1M, 1!18. in
Melford. The remains were interred
iu the Central Point cemetery. He
was the only child of Lerov and Hosn
Smith, imod 11 months nnd two days,
from the floral offerings one would
conclude thirt the parents had a liosr
of friends, for the urnvo was simply
covered with fhwers. And I am re

friends who have assisted and con

throauh our town Saturday on his
way to his dairy ranch on Kotruc

man, A. J. Klorevi Sr., is home on a
sick leave from Kurt Stevens. He
