Word has been received in the city
of the death of Mrs. Margaret Lynch,
a Jackson county woman said to be
101 years old, at Salt Lake City,
Utah. She was the wife of William
Lynch of Trail Creek, and died at the
homo of her daughter, Mrs, Hell
jowellyn.
The body will arrive in Medford
from Salt Lake City at 7:35 o'clock
Thursday morning. Funeral services
will he held at the grave In Antloch
cemetery.

Miv. Orr had been at his bedside

and Mr. H. O. iNordwkk, former well
known residents of the city who for
tho past year or more have been re
siding at the Nordwick ranch in the
Table Kock district, deeply sympa

Sunday they received a telegram
that their daughter, Mrs. E. L. Boyer,
30 years old, had died of influenza
at hf.r home in Oakland, Calif., and
that another daughter in that city,
Mrs. C. W. Jacobsen, was in a dying
condition from tho same disease.
Mrs. Nordwick left Sunday afternoon
for Oakland, and Mr. Nordwick left
for the same place Monday after
noon, leaving their son Hoy at homo
ill with a bad cold. Nothing has been
received here since relative to tho
condition of Mrs. Jarobsen, who is
well known In Medfor'd, having re
sided here for a year or more while
her husband served as bookkeeper at
the Nordwick mill.
Hoy Nordwick, who had been lo
Camp Freemont to bid good-bye to
his brother. Corporal Arthur Nord
wick, who is about to sail with the
12th Infantry for France, arrived
home 111 Sunday. Mrs. Boyer, who
died Sunday, had never resided in
Medford, but had visited here several
times.
