the month of June, July and August
when the date on the egg candling'

mainder of .the year, vhen the egg
candling certificate shows seven day
have elapsed since the first candling,
the eggs should be recandled and
proper notation made on the candling
certificate.
The above regulations are made in
nn effort to stop traffic in bad eggs,
nnd to prevent loss of good eggs.
Your hearty co-operation is request
ed in carrying out these regulations.
. In handling eggs the following
rules should be observed :
1. A fresh egg should be one of
good size, clean, full, with "fixed air
cell" of not more than '.i-lG inch in
depth, sweet and strong body. (The
albumen should not appear watery.)
A larger air cell with a movable lower
line indicates a stale egg, or one that
is becoming weak or waterv. Such
eggs should not be shipped.
2. . Kggs should he bought or sold
on merit. The price received or paid
should be strictlv in accordance with
the qualitv of the product. To allow
us much for inferior eggs as for eggs
of the highest quality is practicalty

Mr. Wm. Hover was called to Huso-
burg on Aug. 2 3d by the death, pi
his grandfather. Uriah M. Hover was
a veteran of the Civil war and served
in Company 10, 3 3d Wisconsin infau-j
try. The deceased would have 'been
S2 years old Oct. 7th. . Mr. Hover;
spent a part of his timo with rela
tives here and was well known in the
valley. He leaves a largo family oi
sons, daughters and grandchildren to
mourn his loss. Mrs. G. A. Hover
of Ontario, Cab, stopped here on her
way home from the funeral to visit
a few days with relatives.
J. W. Elden met with, a serious
accident Tuesday morning ,of this
week, when the load of hay on
which he was riding upset. In Jump
ing to save himself from the full,

moved to Medford where an X-ray
was taken. It was round that a bone

Medfol'd Irrigation District lo the
