Considerable dissatisfaction has
been expressed by the people on ac
count of tho Increased registration of
their water meters, this Increase ho
ing'raused by the water being shut
off leaving air In tlje pipes. When
the water was ugain turned on II
forced the air thru tho meters thus
causing them to register almost twice
the amount of water then was need
by the consumer. At the regular
council meeting Monday evening,
which was attended by a Inrso num-
ber o'r townspeople, it was decided to
sink a prospective shaft and ascer
tain if It would warrant a tunnel to
the main well, In he hope of getting
a larger suppiy of water.

offensives the use of shells by both

March offensive there were fired in
two days nearly six limes as many
