terday. Five cars were soW for $1.70
per box, f. o. b. Medford, spot cash
when the cars roll. This Is an ex
cellont prlco for Hartletts and there
Is prospect that the association will
be able to dispose of a large part of
its Dartlctts at this figure.
Fifteen cars of other varlotles
Hose, Winter Nellis and Howclls, have
also been sold by the association at
price higher than the average last
year, altho no announcement of the
exact prices has been made.' Ir.
Beckwith Is very much pleased with
this salo, as are the members of the
association, and a profitable season
for the growers Is anticipated.
