Is applicable to either, war or mer
chant ships.
Ladles of tho Baptist church, will
serve dinner on July 4 in the church
parlors. Tho meal will be a substan
tial one served in cafeteria style. The
baptist ladles are among the first to
announce dining ascommodations for
the holiday visitors.
F. J. Borger of Eugene, has been
here this week attending to business
interests, ho being a property owner
in this vicinity.

guests attended the public lunch at
Hotel Austin on Wednesday, the first
o a series of social "feeds" to be
given at mid-week intervals. Talus

moned to Yreka this week to testify
in tho case of a negro lately arrested
in this vicinity.
