issued a call for 50,000 men consisting of sailors, coal pas

Men between the ages of 21 and 30 are wanted and If ac
cepted they will he exempted from military service. Exper
ience not necessary. Applicants aro sent to a U. S. Shipping
Board School for a month with pay at the rate of $30 per
month with board and uniform. After training pay is advanced
to ?15 per month or more depending on the kind of work you
