forest 'ire situation in this section,
has been greatly improved today, al

Three large fires were remrt-ted to
day in the Kootnai forest near Libby

In northern Idaho all danger points

on Marble creek burned over 5,000
acres of valuable timherland.
Forest' fire fighters are working
hard and all are expected to he put
under control. Hangers are being
rushed to lookout posts earlier than
usual because of the dry season. Xo
touble has heen experienced so far in
obtaining fire fighters.
