Sunday was the closing day for the
protracted mooting that Ruv. Wm.
Driver has been holding for the past
month. Ho has preached six times a
week during four weeks in May and
tho most of his sermons were good,
altho he did not succeed in gaining
many members to bis church during
the month, there were eight came
forward and by that act expressed
desire to embrace Christ, but there
was only two united with tho church
and tliey were Mrs. Robinson and her
little daughter. They were immersed
Sunday afternoon in Butte creek.
Sunday night he held his last services
and had a good congregation. Rev.
Driver and his wife are fine singers
and aro very pleasant and agreeable
companions und we trust that their
labors In their next field ot labor will
bo crowned with abundant success.
His car was taken to Medford Tues-
day.
Died Juno 5, Mss. Emma E. Millu
at tho residence of her father, Mr.
John McAllister near Lako Creek,
aged 22 years, six months and 13
days. Sho leaves her husband, one
child, her father, three brothots and
three sisters. Tho remains were In
terred Wednesday afternoon In the
Brownsboro cemetery. Religious ser

friends followed the remains to the
grave.
