Jackson county has one patriotic
citizen of whom her citizens can well
feel proud. He Is J. W. Thompson,
the well known sheep man In the An
telopo district whoso patriotism is of
the modest and practical kind.
In accordance with his annual cus
tom last fall Mr. Thompson bought
his year's flour supply of from 1000
to 1000 pounds, from the Warner,
Wortman & Gore grocery in this city.
Learning recently of the govern
ment's need for wheat and flour (or
the allies, and that no more was to
he sold, etc., lie decided at once to
return all the unused flour beyond
what was necessary for the Immedi
ate future needs on his large ranch.
Monday he returned to Warner,
Wortman & Gore eight sacks of flour,'
about 400 pounds, with the naive re
mark, "I need this flonr but some one
olse needs It worse." He was given a
receipt for the flour which will he
turned over to the food administra
tion. He had returned the eight
sacks wrapped carefully with canvas
so that the bags would not get dirty
In being brot to the city.
Furthermore, Mr. Thompson care
fully went over his stock of corn
picked out all tho milling corn and
took it to the mill at Haute Point
where he had it ground up for use us
a flour substitute on the fifty-fifty
basis. His return of the flour was
purely voluntary, as having purchas
ed It last fall he was entitled to Its
use.
Mr. Thompson's act Is especially
refreshing in view of the reports
reaching the authorities the past few
days of a number of cases where
large quantities of flour are being
conccalod ana hoarded. , These cases
are now under investigation. The
eight returned sucks are on exhlbl

Dear Sirs :
I take pleasure in advising you that the relief I have ob
tained from the use of Nujol is far more than what is ordinarily
termed "satisfactory." .
. For years before sending you my order for a trial bottle of '
Nujol I habitually used destructive "pink pills" due to the fact
that through lack of proper exercise I was continually constipated
and a sufferer from other ailments known to result only from
irregular bowel-action. I have taken three bottles of Nujol, and
ever since I finished. the first bottle my bowel action has been as
tegular as the rising sun, and my general physical condition is
now as good as can be wished for.
In my opinion Nujol is a scientific cure for constipation and
its countless other resultant ailments. I earnestly recommend it.
Yours truly,
C. S. Holmberg.
Don't dread constipation; but don't neglect it It's the
poisonous root of scores of serious ailments. Do exactly what
Mr. Holmberg did : bring back regular bowel-habits with
Nujol. Nujol gives you the quick relief you want without
the least griping or reaction. Thousands know it is the
safest remedy, for the body cdtrnot absorb it. Quit using
harmful pills and salts. Nujol makes you "regular as
clockwork." Start using it today.
