bonds, and I want to thank them thru
you for their loyalty and patriotism
they have shown In subscribing so
freely for the first fifty of the fifty
dollar liberty bonds.
; 1 find that we have just as many
pore patriotic boys and girls who
want to take up a liberty bond and I
'am pleased to announce to you that I
have concluded to increase my offer a
few hundred dollars.
; I am also greatly pleased to Inform
you that our good friend, Mr. V. A.
Folger, than whom there Is no bigger
hearted or more patriotic citizen in
the state of Oregon, has voluntarily
agreed to help me out by advancing
$3000 so as to make it possible for
sixty more school boys and girls to
buy bonds by taking the samo plan
as was offered by mo a few days ago,
that is, pay $2.00 cash and the bal
ance $3.00 per month.
