Beeley Hall, who Is home on a 10
flays furlough from the aviation
training camp near San Diego, will
report back to the camp for duty on
August 24, when he will bo Bent to

the east, probably near Detroit. He

shops. Mr. Hall regrets exceedingly

ond conclave held nt Crator Lake this
'week. Due to war and I. W. W. con
ditions the attendance was not as
large as two years ago. There were
over .60 autos from this side of the
mountain present at the conclave and
about 15 more from other parts of
the state and California. California
lodges as far south as Sacramento
were represented. The I. W. W. trou
bles In eastern Oregon cut the at
tendance Borne. For Instance, 12 car
loads of knights were promised from
the Pendleton territory, but there
was much leB. One knight from
there especially who had planned to
come, remained at home with a guard
of 50 men to protoct his ranch and

Tho first soctlon of train 13 on
reaching the city this morning proved
to be more of a military than passen
ger train as most of the cars were
filled with soldiers. Including several
hundred army medical corps mem
bers from Fort Lawton, Seattle, en
route to an unnamed and to the sol
diers unknown destination. One car
was filled with forty navy recruits
bound for the naval training station
at San Francisco.
