FltEDENIH ltU. James Isaac Fre
denburg died at the home of his neph
ew, James Yeslie, Jacksonville road
Saturday, June 8. He was born In
Missouri, Jannury 8, 1858. Came to
Oregon, 1804. ReHlded In the Wil
lamette valley many years, coming to
Jackson county 1881. Since that time
he has made his home In Jackson
county, except about five years in
eastern Oregon.
Ho leaves to mourn his loss, three
brothers, four sisters and seven chil
dren, John I,, and It. M. Fredenburg
of Sams Valley, Oregon; Mrs. Mamie
Moore of Central Point; Mrs. Nellie
Englo of Fort Klamath; Bertha, Jes
sie, and Uessio Fredenburg of Sams
Valley, Oregon. Tho funeral services
were held at tho grave at Sams Val
ley cemetery at 2 p. m, Monday. Hev.
F. V. Carstens officiating.

the Carstens home by Wm. Force and
Miss Josle Stevens, who witnessed the
happy event. Both Mr. and Mrs
Lewis are well and favorably known
about Central Point. A wide circle
