This assurance was telegraphed

than suggest avenues of inquiry und
investigation to determine means to
increase transportation efficiency.
The positive statement hns been made
that the hoard has neither directed
or suggested that the roads reduce
passenger service to the extent of
seriously incommoding the public.
So far no reductions in passenger

CERTAIN-TEED roofuiR is t!it most efficient and econ

buildings, garages, etc., because the first cost is less than
that of metal, wood shingles, or tar and gravel. This is
particulafly so now, because of the present high prices of
some of the materials. CERTAIN -TEED costs less to
lay than any other kind of roof. It will not rust, is not
affected by fumes, gases ar.d acida, coal smoke, etc. ; it is
light weight and fire retardant. Every rain washes it clean;
and it does not melt or run under the hot rays cf the sun,
