The Boils
were eased by the dog who licked
the infected places, but they were not
cured. Many modern people employ
the same method in their treatment
of bolls, pimples, rashes, carbuncles,
' eczema and other skin diseases. They
apply a salve or lotion to the sore
places and fondly imagine they have
cured them. The important fact which
they fail to recognize is, that these
skin diseases are diseases of the blood,
and that no external treatment can
permanently cure them, because they
are essentially internal ailments.
