A son of Edward Payson Weston,
tho world famed pedestrian, who is
known as "Young Billy Weston," and
Is himself of some reputation as a
walker, arrived In Medford on Wed
nesday evening on a patriotic mission.
Ho is on a walking tour of the Pacific
coast soliciting men to Join tho army
and navy. Ho served In tho' army
during the Spanish-American war and
In the battle of San Juan hill was
wounded in the hand ncce 'isltatlng
the amputation of several fingers.
Because of this crippled hand he has
been ivfmcd enlistment in the army.
