opera house of New York for four
years, presenting grand opera with
the Damrosch opera company and di
recting his own company. All this
time ho remained the director of his
pet symphony orchestra.
Last year Henry Flagler endowed
tho Damrosch Symphony Orchestra
with an Income of $ 100,000.00 a year.
This financial assistance has enabled
Mr. Oamrosch to make his orchestra
larger and bettor than ever.
