IE TO SPRAY
All those having the Dormant Sol
uble Oil for the dormant application
and wishing to get the softening ef
fect cf the burk nnd a possible shor
tening of the blossoming period
should spray at this lime or as soon
as it is possible to get In the orchard
with the spray rigs. Where the
ground is too wet this spray can be
npplicd any time until the buds be
gin to break. However late applica
tions would have little or no short
ening effect on the blossom
ing period, but will lie equally ef
fective In softening Ihe hark. As
an Insecticide it fs equally or more
efficient than lime and sulphur when
applied as a dormant spray.
Do not apply the lime ami sulphur
at this time hut wait until the buds
are breaking or separating.
