ALLIES LAND'AT
PORT OF ATHENS
LONDON', Dec. 1. A detachment
of entente troops disembarked at PI
reaus, the port of Athens, at 3 o'clock
this morning, according to a wireless
dispatch received this morning from
Athens.
Dispatches yesterday said that en
tente troops were ready to land at Pi
raeus if resistance was made to seiz
ure of arms, which the Greek gov
ernment refused to surrender to Vice
Admiral DuFournet, commander of
the allied squadron. Admiral Du
Fournet demanded that 64 mountain
guns bo delivered today, but granted j
further time for surrender of other j
guns and war material.

clash was feared. I
