notice is hereby given that the County Court of Jackson Conmv, Oregon, will
meet in the Circuit Court room oi" the Court House in the Oily of Jacksonville,
Oregon, on Thursday, the 7th day ot December. If) Hi, at tile hour of 10 o'clock
a. in. oi said day, and at the said time and place opportunity will be given for
a full and complete discussion of this estimate of the amount of money pro
posed to he raised bv taxation for the ensuing year, as published herewith,
by any taxpayer subject to such tax levy 'when made, in favor of or against
any of the propoesd tax levies herein as the County Court may deem lor the
besl interests of Jackson County.
The County Court has prepared and submiis the following:
An estimate of the amount requited for each department, of county gov
ernment, county office or county officer, each county improvement, the main
tenance of each (limn ty building, structure or institution, the salary of each
county officer or employe, including those whose salaries are fixed by statute,
for the improvement and maintenance of public highways, roads, bridges, the
eon ui. ruction; operation and maintenance of eaeli public utility and redemp
tion of outstanding warrants; an estimate of the probable receipts of the
county from sources other than direct taxation upon the real ami personal
properly in Die county during the period for which such lax is to be levied,
and the amount of balances, on hand' In the funds of the county at ilie lime
the levy will be made.
