hail from Merrill, Wis. Several years
ago Crapsec was a rancher in the
Little Applegnto section, and captur
ed a brown bear eub. This is now n
full-fledged bruin, and acts a promi
nent part in vaudeville stunts under
the name of "Alice-Teddy."

ily of Orants Pass, where Mr. War

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crews. The
professor was at one time at the head
of tlie manual training department of
the .Southern Oiegon Normal here at
the lime when that institution went
''fluey." Afterward he was engaged
in educational work at San Bernar
