rage," said Mr. Slatou, "and every
man engaged In tho lynching should
ho hanged, for he Is nn assassin. Such
an act Is contrary to tho civilization
of Georgia and one which every good
citizen will condemn.
"I can use no langtingo too con
demnatory. 1 hellevo tho governor
of Georgia will uso all tho power of
the stnto to punish tho malefactors
who disgraced the civilization of
Georgia.

Hank of Jacksonville, and the bride

Leo M Frhiik, learned definitely to
day that their son had boon hanged
near Mnriiitta Gj.. they drew the
shade at nil windows of their homo
In llrookijn and refused to answer
the door bell or telephone.
Neighbors said tho Frank family
had begun nn eight day period of
mourning, which was customary un
der the Jewish religion.
Karly callers at the Frank homo
wero met by Otto Stern, Frank's
brother-in-law. He said that Mr
Frank and his wife wero asleep and
had not beon told of thn kidnaping of
their sou. Within two hours the fam
ily had received word that Franks
bod had been found bunging to a
tree,
