stopped with difficulty. Dr. Porter
was called nnd dressed the wound.
Dennett will be confined to hi room
for a few days.
The cartridge was discharged when
Dennett jammed the ramrod against
the cap, holding tho wcajmn pointed
toward him. No serious results will
follow the accident. Mr. Dennett, the
father, is in Eugene attending to bus
iuess matters, and has been notified.
