ney's office aro looking for an Over
land car that crashed Into a farmer's
waAon on the Pacific highway two1
nights ago, and sped on without stam
ping. It was first reported that a
Jitney belonging to Yroomnn brothers
caused the accident, but later devel
opments show that the jitney ran
off the grade to prevent a collision,
and that tho unidentified Overland
sped in between tho wagon and Jit
ney, upsetting the wagon, and con
tinuing on Its way. After tho crash,
tho Jitney driver sped after tho Ov
erland in an effort to catch It, but
was outdistanced.

eration. He was trapped and killed
by II. H. Lampman of Hill Billy
