WATER SUPPLY
A break occurred In the city water
main lino pipe Thursday noon, a mile
above Ilrownshoro, at what Is known
nt No. -I valve, located three-quarters
of a mile this side of the tunnel.
Thousands of gallons ot water are
pouring out of the break. It Is not i
known whether tho break wns due
to a flaw in tho pipe, or hoiup vandal
turning on tho valve out ot mis-
