JOHNSON TO FIGHT
AT 210 POUNDS
PARIS, Juno 2i. Jack Johnson, tho
champion heavyweight pugilist, will
weigh about -10 pounds when he en
ters the ring Saturday for his fight
with Frank Moran of Pittsburgh.
This means ho will bo about ten
pounds heavier than at the time of
his fight a'galnst Jeffries at Reno,
July f. 1910.
Since Johnson began training ho
has lost 25 or 30 pounds In weight.
He wilt continue his hard work until
Friday.
Johnson eayg ho Is still looking for
a taker of a bet of 15000 which ho
wants to wager on himself.
Tho odds In regard to tho fight
rango from 5 to 1 down to 2 to 1 in
favor of Johnson.

the boat was smashed and all were

nnd children struggled helplessly In
tho waves. A quartermaster of tho
Gothland sprang from the steamer's
deck and succeeded In saving three
of tho women.

drowning children to their compan
ions in the rescue boat until all had
been saved. There wag n heavy sea
running and all salvage work wns
perilous but eventually nil were put
safely nshore.

jettison some of her cargo of grain
