Captain Malplco formerly was a

In T,ovo With Tlcauty
As a lieutenant In tho Mexican

So one night Lloutcnant Malplco
put out to sea and turned his com

ho expected no leniency from his for

him yesterday.
When tho Tampico began to sink,
Malplco and several of tho crew at

In honor of tho gallant fight he had

Tho United States cruiser Now

When tho Taraplcoc began to sink.
Captain Malplco and a number of tho

The Guerrero gave chase, but did not

overhauled and captured. As tne
launch was being brought alongside
tho GuGerrcro, Captain Malplco com

that his body bo burled at Mazatian
will bo honored.
Tho constitutionalists have evacu

The hog cholera appropriation wan

that a part of this fund bu expended

According to tho advice of the
ilfpartuieiit there is little hog cholera
in Oregon, notwithstanding thu wide-
spread area infected in Idaho. There
is a possibility, however, that thu dis

Oregon, for tho germ seems to be
carried by water, and the worst c

on irrigation projects which get
their water from Snake river.

LMOST every town and hamlet on
the Pacific Coast has its garage or
supply store where tho Red Crown
sign is displayed. Wherever you see that sign
it means Quality, Uniformity and Reliability
in gasoline. It means that wherever you
motor you can obtain the same high grade
fuel, and so avoid the troubles that come
with changes of gasoline.
Make it a practice to ask for Red Crown,
the real gasoline a straight product of
refining not a mixture.
Red Crown signs arc furnished to all
dealers handling this gasoline. Watch for the
sign or ask our nearest agency
about delivery in bulk.
