Hooray we can have ntt wo want to eat I Mother's food won
hurt us and it won't "break" mother's purse, 'cause it's mado of
Cottolene
the shortening that makes food so wholesome that littlo children can eat even
doughnuts, made with Cottolene. Foods fried In it are
dehciously browned and EASILY digested. You'll
NOTICE, the difference just try Cottolene.
OLD-FASHIONED PLAIN DOUQHNUT!
3 cups flour, 2 even teaspoons baiting powder, 1 tea
spoon Cottolene, sweet milk. Sift flour, baling
powder and salt together into mixing bowL Rubin
Cottolene with a knife and stir in milk to make a
dough as soft as can be handled (about 2-3 of a cup.)
Tip out on floured board, roll Into n strip 3 Inches
wide and 1-1 inch thick. Cut off strips 3-4 inch
wide, roll them out long, twist and fry to a light
brown in deep Cottolene. This makes IS dough
nuts especially good for eating with syrup.
