said, by friends of the two as a good
way to continue these relations with
out embarrassment, and these friends
' nre said to have expressed the confl-
i dence that, if loe was lacking, it
. would soon grow between the couple.

diva and Kapp have uot been living
together, and much of the time, when

Schumann a noted German nctor.
