Sift 2 1-2 cups of flour with 3 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 tea
spoon of salt and 1-3 cup of sugar. Beat an teg well and aJd
2-3 of a cup of milk to thie. To the sifted flour add 3-4 cup cf

spoons of softened Cottolene, mix thoroughly, place In loaf pan,
let stand 10 minutes, then bake In a moderate oven 40 minutes.
