fruit is offered it is of the cull A'arie'ty.
A tourist would never know, save from literature, or
from personal inquiry, or from visiting orchards, that the

see it. except by visiting exhibits at the Commercial club

the hotels to serve fancy fruit, without success. Associa
tions have agreed to supply it as needed, but the offer was
not accepted. Individuals have even gone so far as to
present the hotels with boxes of fancy fruit free, with the
request that it be placed upon the tablesbut the donors
were politely informed that it was against the hotel rules.
.No ono wants to hamper
their management. They are better than the support given
them. But it docs seem that such splendid advertisements
of the enterprise of the community as the hotels are should
further advertise it by serving Rogue Kivor fruit.
Efforts being made by the Commercial club in snmii-n
this result will moot hearty co-operation from the com

this purpose.
