Crator Lake national forest with
headquarters at Medford, have mndc
out their annual report for tho twelve
months between July 1st, 1912 and
Juno 30, 1911. Tho report shows
that thrco roads have been built by
tho department In tho past year,
making n total of 30 roads in tho
forest. They wero built at a cost ot
I11.1S9. Thirty-two and three-
fourths miles of trail, wero construct
ed at a cost of $5,207, making the
totals amount of trails 174 miles. 23
telephones wero Installed making a
total ot 143. A fenco ono and threo-
fourths miles In length was built at a
cost of $27 making a total ot 2G
miles of fence in tho park.
Thrco houses wero built for ran
gers, etc., for J4G00 making a total
of 1C houses. Six barns wero al
ready built and two more built for
$1440. $125.50 was spent in other
buildings. Two bridges wero built
at a cost of $310. This makes a total
of 12 bridges In tho park. Two wells

Prevailing prices were: Apricots

apples, 2 cents; eggs, 23 cents;
chickens, dressed, 18 to 25 cents.
