Hereafter Officer Mcgo will be known
as Sergeant Mejro and he will boss
the cops, on the night force between
the hours of six p. m. and six a. m.
The promotion wns made by Mayor
Eifert Friday night, the council con
curring. The appointment provides a head
for night police work. Heretofore
the officers held consultations as to
courses of action in emergencies.
The step will leave no room for ar
gument when orders are issued.
