lem and reported to the warden and
started serving the remainder of his
endless sentence. It waa because ho

promise with Governor West that ho
was soon liberated, a full pardon
; coming to him.
Mack's wlfo remained loyal to
him, and before ho returned Jto prison
ho secured a position as cook for her
