Tho new. refrigerator freight ser
vice Inaugurated by tho Southern Pa
cific on. Saturday makes it possible
to ship butter and eggs and all pro
duce to the city without danger and
at a reasonable rate. In the first car
Grants Pass loaded 15 cases of eggs
and the freight rate amounted to
1 1-4 cents per dozen. Medford
shipped .14 cases and Ashland ship
ped considerable butter. The car
