The Clark & Henery Construction
company has agreed to pavo the
street through the c'ty park for
$1000. which is about $300 less than
the paving of tho street would
amount to it done at regular rates.
The proposition was tendered the
city council Monday afternoon.
Tho matter was referred to the
finance committee' in order to deter
mine whether the city could afford
to pave the street at this time or not.
It will be acted upon at tho next
meeting of the city council.

section of Seaside, causing a loss of
more than $200,000, was extin

The new Seaside will bo laid out

not come again.
About $100,000 of the loss was
