H. B. Haywood, a carpenter, was
shot and killed horo today while
scuffling with his son Robert, who
was trying to protect Ills mother

wood, according to the storleB of the

ward his wife following his demand

from the house and brought back
her son Robort from a nearby resi
dence to protect her. When the two
