Splendid Music at,
the Ugo Theatre)
Lovers of music will linvo the op-1 '
portunity of beginning the New Year)
by gratifying their craving for thej!
best efforts iu that line, Monday i ',
night nt the I'go theater. The mail- 1
agement of that popular place has
been fortunate to secure for the de-1 !
light of their patrons tho famous
Bistolfi's Unique Italian Orchestra,
frosh from its successes in musical
centers. Following is whnt the linker
Herald says about the performance
of this artistic cempany:
"The playing of BIMolfi's 'Miiltum
in Pnrvo Orchestra' was u revelation
to those who nro prono to judge of
the merits of a performance by the
price of admission. To hear those
artists play is a liberal education, in
deed, for their interpretation, expres
sion nnd shading is masterful. The
ensemble work of this unique nggre
pition is equal to more thou twice
its number of performers and the
violin solo is nlone worth many times
the price of ndmision. It is seldom
that music lovers anywhere arc given
the opportunity to enjoy such Innsic
nt such minimum cost." 241 I
