later moved to Portland and while

Mr. Forguson was sheriff of Multno

adjoining that of X. C. Demi, whose
farm was tho first located in the

remained in tho ownership of

Mrs. Ferguson sold it and moved to

Mrs. Ferguson was genorous and hos
pitable and ovor ready to lend a help
ing hand to those iu need and to give
a full mother's euro to her largo fam
ily, and she had many friends who
sincerely mourned her death, She
was tho mother of 11 children, those
now living being Francis M. and Rob
ert L. Ferguson, Mrs. Jnno Morgan,
Ma. Mary Abbott, Mrs. Sarah Oviutt,
Mrs. Clnra Bnrkdull, Mrs. Martha
McRcynohls, Mrs. Hannah Fisher,
nnd nil woro with their mother when
sho passed nwny. Sho had 20 grand
