has been completed, leaving only
2500 feet more to cover td completo
tho contract to within one mile of
Central Point, which is as far as tho
old road was torn up and graded.
The placing of the rock began at
this "end and all tho rock used as
tho'work progressed has been hauled
over ' tho newly mado road and as
this is being done with wagons con
taining three cubic yards of rock
tho road ought to bo pretty thor
oughly packed.
In the spring the five feet of earth
grade on either side ot the mac
adam will be put In and the macad
am dressed up to meet tho require
ments of the contract. It Is said
there aro no sing boles orlowplaces
in tho road, hence tho dressing re
quired will not bo much.
