days ago. He was endeavoring to
-emove foxtail from the cow's throat
when the animal c'osed her teeth on
tho proceedings and Incidentally on
Mr. Bennett's thumb, severing com
pletely the nail of that member.

Mrs. Kate Russell, who has been
visiting her son, D. B. Russell, and
