TO KEEP YOUR HAIR
FINE AND GLOSSY
(Amy Moore in Current Styles)
"The ronton women have brittle
stringy, straggly hair ik because It
is washed too often. This robs the
scalp of tho oily nccretion necessary
to promote n healthy condition ami
dandruff nnd failliug hair result.
'Women troubled with dry, itchy
fccnlpt, or those having too much oil
should use a dry shampoo frequent'
as it invigorated the scalp tiHHiien
nnd Ktimulates the hair follicles,
muking the hair bright and fluff .
"A reliable shampoo powder can
he made by mixing four ounce" 1 1
orris root with four ounces of Ihorox
and a tahlcspoonftil dusted on the
head, then brushed out carefully is
more beneficial than a muetmge. It
demises Ihe scnlp and keens the
hair glossy. Then, too, a dry sham
poo eliminates the exposure to
catching cold fliat follows washing
tho head."
