free gold. It is mound in a well de

tion. Quito an amount of the rich ore
ha, heeu taken out and is being mor
tared out by hand ns there is no mill
within easy reach. While the vein
which is about '2G inches in width, p.
not nil specimen rock, there is so
much that the freo gold can easily
be eeu from top to tho bottom of the
drift. It is found nt a depth of about
50 feet.
