The City of Medford doth ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Whereas, the city council
did heretofore provldo by ordinance for
the serving of tho owners of property
adjacent to and benefited by the con
struction of the lateral sewer hereinaft

council and show cause. If any, why
said property should not be assessed for
the construction of said sewer, and did
fir a. time for hearing any such pro
tests, which notice was given In accord
ance with said ordinance more than ten
days before tho beginning of the con
struction of said sewer, but no protests
against said construction or assessment
of the cost thereof was made by anyone
